BID Hosts Annual Meeting of the Members

On Wednesday, January 28th, the BID hosted its Annual Meeting of the Members. The BID Board of Directors re-capped its 2025 work, and sought feedback from members on its 2026 priorities. McNeil Jewelers, Inc. and The Blarney Stone Pub were honored for their commitment to the Downtown community over decades of business.

Boutique Hotel at 14-16 S. Broad St. Breaks Ground

Principle Design + Engineering, a Downtown Revitalization Initiative funding recipient, broke ground on the new Principle Hotel in Downtown Norwich on October 23rd. The team was joined by Secretary of State Walter T. Mosley for the announcement. Construction is anticipated to begin this fall, with an opening date of late 2026.
